Privacy notice
This notice covers the personal data submitted through the Struktly private-preview access form. It was last updated on 26 August 2026.
Controller and contact
Fridthjof Labs, CVR 46717252, is the data controller for these requests. Contact [email protected] about this notice or your personal data.
What we collect
We collect your email address, GitHub username, requested platform, optional description of what you would try, request timestamps, and the status of any approval or release access. Please do not put confidential information or sensitive personal data in the optional description.
Cloudflare may also process ordinary request metadata, such as an IP address and user agent, to deliver and protect the site. Struktly does not use website analytics or advertising cookies.
Why we use it
We use the data only to review private-preview requests, contact you about the request, manage the waitlist, issue or revoke release access, and operate the preview safely. Requests are reviewed by a person; there is no automated decision-making.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest under GDPR Article 6(1)(f) in operating a controlled private preview and responding to people who ask to participate. You may object to this processing at any time.
Storage and recipients
Cloudflare hosts the site and stores the submitted request in an EU-jurisdiction D1 database. For macOS-capable requests, the submitted details are copied to a private issue in the Struktly infrastructure repository on GitHub so a person can review them. If approved, your GitHub username is used to invite you to the private releases repository.
Cloudflare provides hosting and database storage. GitHub receives the submitted details for private review and, if approved, the username needed for the invitation. Their services may involve processing outside the EEA under their applicable transfer safeguards. We do not sell the data or disclose it for advertising.
Retention
Pending or declined requests are kept for no more than 12 months after the last interaction. Approved requests are kept while preview access is active and for no more than 12 months after it ends. Data may be kept longer only when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim.
Your rights
You may ask for access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Email [email protected] to make a request. You may also complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Datatilsynet.
